Woman Accused of Stealing from Bethel Target

The New York woman was charged with sixth degree larceny.

BETHEL, CT-- A New York woman is being charged with sixth degree larceny after attempting to steal close to $300 worth of store merchandise at Target in Bethel without paying for it, according to a police report.

Police said Martha Brideau, 53, of Fishkill, NY, attempted to leave the Bethel store with $286.19 woth of store merchandise. She was issued a summons on site and given a court date of March 5, 2016.
