16-Year-Old Charged In Woodbridge Attempted Armed Carjacking: PD
The juvenile from New Haven and another fled after the victim refused to comply, police said. One was caught after ditching a pellet gun.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Sunday afternoon, police were called to a report of an attempted carjacking in a Lucy Street apartment complex parking lot, Woodbridge police Sgt. A.J. Capiello said.
The victim told officers that he was approached by two people, one who he said had a handgun and demanded his car keys. The man refused, and the two took off, police said.
Shortly after, police found two people matching the descriptions of the suspects as "they ran southbound on Litchfield Turnpike into New Haven." Police saw one ditch a "firearm," which later was found to be a pellet gun.
