WOODBRIDGE, CT — Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and keep keys secure after a rash of recent thefts.
A vehicle was stolen from Luciani Street on Aug. 6 and was recovered in West Haven. On Aug. 19 a vehicle was stolen out of an Orchard Road driveway after someone broke into the resident's home and stole keys, police said. The vehicle was recovered Tuesday morning in North Haven.
"Additionally, over the past several weeks, residents have reported thefts from their vehicles, all of which had been left unlocked," police said in a statement on Facebook. "These thefts have been spread throughout the town, and have not been limited to any specific area."
