3 Women Injured In Serious Head-On Crash in Bethany: Police
State police are seeking witnesses to the weekend accident.
BETHANY, CT — Three women were hospitalized with serious injuries following a two-vehicle, head-on crash early Saturday, according to state police.
The accident happened on Route 69, or Carrington Road, around 2:09 a.m. near the intersection of Woods Road.
According to state police, a Lexus RX350 was northbound on Route 69, while a Honda Accord was southbound.

Police said the Honda entered the northbound travel lane and collided with the Lexus head-on.
The driver of the Lexus, a 71-year-old Bristol woman, and her passenger, a 37-year-old Bristol woman, were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, and police described their injuries as “serious.”

The driver of the Honda, a 33-year-old East Haven woman, was also transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Both drivers had to be extricated before they could be transported. The accident remains under investigation.
