WOODBRIDGE, CT — It didn't take long for the Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Department's new 100-foot tower truck to come in handy. Firefighters rescued an 8-year-old boy who got stuck in a tree 50 feet above the ground.
Firefighters spent about 25 minutes getting the boy to safety on Richard Sweet Road, according to NBC Connecticut.
