Amity High School Students Head to Walt Disney World

Members of the cast of the successful production of 'The Addams Family' and their directors headed to Florida on Monday.

Amity High School Theater Department students have just completed six months of rehearsals for what turned out to be a wonderful production of 'The Addams Family.' Click here to read my review of this year's spring musical.

Ancestors in 'The Addams Family'

When their final performance was complete, they rested for exactly one day and headed off to New York for an early morning flight to Orlando International Airport. Theater directors Andrea and Rob Kennedy (pictured below) chaperoned the trip. Upon their safe arrival, the students and their chaperones headed to Walt Disney World for some fun and relaxation.

The talented group is scheduled to perform onstage on Thursday, April 19 at 5 pm for Disney guests.

The students had the opportunity to attend workshops today with Disney Performing Arts, a chance to go "behind the scenes" at Disney World.
