Amity Middle School Bethany Receives Grant For Art Project
The fiber arts projects will be created in February 2019.
Region 5 Schools: The Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation (http://jamiehulleyartsfund.org/) recently awarded $1,000 for a special inter-disciplinary project to Marika Wissink, eighth grade Social Studies teacher at Amity Middle School in Bethany. Ms. Wissink’s students will work with visiting artist, Heather Stoltz, to create fiber arts projects to demonstrate student learning of the 19th century U.S. Social Reform Movements. The fiber arts projects will be created in February 2019.
