Amity Middle School Bethany Teacher Earns Huge Honor
Robert Fragione's love for teaching impacts both his students and colleagues.

From The CT Association of Schools: The Connecticut Association of Schools is pleased to announce that Mr. Robert Fragione of Amity Middle School in Bethany has been selected as the recipient of the CAS 2018-2019 Middle Level Educator of the Year Award.
Chosen from among several outstanding educators Mr. Fragione’s strong connections with his students, positive energy, passion for his profession, and willingness to share his expertise with others have earned him this award.
When his colleagues asked him how he “survives” middle school he responded, “Honestly, I cannot picture myself anywhere else. Where can you work and influence the young minds that will be our future leaders? Their zany and unpredictable ways keep me laughing and remind me that we are all young at heart and learning as we age.”
