The Spartans placed fourth in the team standings with 160 points. The top six teams and first 25 individuals at the State Open earned berths in the New Englands, to be run Saturday, Nov. 14 at Thetford Academy, just outside of White River Junction, VT.

Senior Harrison Block and junior Kyle Beaudette won individual medals, awarded to the first 25 finishers, by placing 10th and 20th, respectively. Senior Connor Crane also ran well, missing out on an individual medal by just seven seconds in finishing 28th in the field of 188 runners.
