Amity Schools Announce Destruction of Student Records

Amity Regional School District #5, as per state guidelines, is properly disposing of student special education records.

Notice to Former Amity Students:

Amity Regional School District #5, as per state guidelines, is properly disposing of student special education records. The records of any student who has received special services are maintained for six years after his or her class graduates.

Former Amity students who were born in 1991 or 1992 and/or having graduated in 2010 who have received special services at the Amity Middle School, Orange; Amity Middle School, Bethany; or Amity Regional High School may obtain their special education records.

Beginning November 1, 2016 these records may be obtained any weekday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Amity District Office, located at Amity High School, 25 Newton Road, Woodbridge, CT.

You must call the Office of Pupil Services at 203-397-4820 prior to claiming records in order to allow sufficient time to retrieve your records from our archives.

If records are not claimed by November 30, 2016 they will be destroyed.
