Angel Tree at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church

WOODBRIDGE, CT - The ANGEL TREE program is UP AND RUNNING this year at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Woodbridge.

The Christmas tree with ANGELS attached is in the vestibule of the church on Center Road.

Since not everyone is attending Masses, we thought a quick reminder might help

You can stop by ANYTIME and pick up an angel or two, OR if you prefer, you can ask us to "send" you an angel via email! Please email: mannham50@gmail.com and indicate whether you want a GIFT angel (which will require some shopping) or a GIFT CARD angel, which you can either drop off or mail to us! The gift would have to be dropped off at church, ANYTIME.

Below are some details on the ANGEL TREE program from the bulletin:

Angels are on the Christmas Tree in the vestibule of the church on Center Road.

On the front of the paper angel is the age and gender of the child and the specific gift needed (if requested). On the back is the date we need the presents returned in a holiday gift bag. This year, we need the gifts returned by Sunday, December 6th. Be sure to attach the paper angel to the gift bag! If you choose an angel that asks for a GIFT CARD, please make sure the angel is attached to the gift card (ideally in asmall gift bag) so we can make sure to get the right gifts to the right recipient!

There are seven organizations in and around the Woodbridge/New Haven area with needy children and families who will receive their donations. They include families in Our Lady of the Assumption parish, All Saints Catholic Academy, Woodward Ross School and Clinton Avenue School in New Haven, teacher wishes from St. Martin de Porres Academy in New Haven, children from St. John’s Parish/School in West Haven and families from BH Care in Ansonia.
