Armed Robbers Sought In Prospect Gas Station Heist
Two suspects stole money and a large amount of cigarettes.
PROSPECT, CT — State Police are asking for the public's help to identify armed robbery suspects. The robbery occurred at the Prospect Sunoco gas station Dec. 13.
A clerk hit the panic alarm and police responded. The gas station attendant called 911 after to report being robbed at gunpoint. Police learned that two male suspects walked into the store and one pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.
The robbers stole $100 from the attendant and $800 worth of Newport cigarettes. They fled on foot toward Scott Road and weren't located.

The first suspect is described as young black male in his late teens or early 20's. He is about 6'0'' to 6'2'' and has a slim build. He wore a maroon feather down jacket with a hood and used a scarf or neck warmer to cover his face.

The second suspect is also a young black male of about the same age. He is shorter and stockier than the first suspect and wore a dark-color jacket and a two-tone scarf around his face. He was the suspect that displayed a handgun that had numerous scratches on its side.
