Back to Drawing Board for Former Country Club of Woodbridge Site: Report

The 155-acre property is owned by the Town of Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Redan Reserve LLC, the development company proposing to build a championship golf course at the former Country Club of Woodbridge site, has withdrawn its application, reports the New Haven Register.

The move again throws the future of the 155-acre, town-owned property up in the air, though officials might move forward with turning it into open space.

What to do with the buildings and pool at the facility remain unresolved questions. The pool is popular but needs work, and the cost of securing the buildings or tearing them down would be well into six-figures.
