Bethany Family Harvest Festival 2016 Details
The popular town event is back and bigger than ever.

BETHANY, CT — The Bethany Family Harvest Festival is scheduled for Oct. 1.
Here is information via the website for the event:
"First things first – We are back at the airport! It’s Saturday, October 1st from 11 am – 4 pm.

Now, let’s talk food trucks! We’ve already shared last month that new this year will be food trucks. Committed to attend the event are: Caseus Cheese, Bethany Pizza, Billy’s Ice Cream and Marketplace, DiSorbo’s Bakery, Firedog Hot Dog Stand, Mamouns Falafel, Spud Stud and Szabo’s Seafood Truck.
Attendees will pay for food at the food trucks, but parking and admission is FREE. We will also have our Bethany based community organizations giving out free cotton candy, popcorn and ice cones at their vendor tables! Coming soon are links to our food trucks that have websites so you can get a head start on your menu selections.

Our 2016 lineup of activities and entertainment is shaping up to be the best yet! Our special guests include: Eagle One Emergency Rescue Helicopter, our local weatherman WTNH’s Sam Kantrow with the mobile weather lab and Bethany’s own Bill Fischer and his contra dance – everyone is invited to join in!
Look to see a demonstration from Pereira’s’ Academy of Karate and musical numbers from The Foresters. We’ll have kid’s bumper cars, face painting, photo booth, mechanical bull ride, bouncies, duck herding, live reptiles, CT CHIPS Child ID Program, buzz cuts from Hair Botega and there is still more coming! Contests include a skillet toss, Legos and cupcake/pies. Also, since it’s a Saturday, you can come early and visit the weekly Bethany Lions Flea Market and the Bethany Farmer’s Market.
