Bethany Lions Club Supports Nature's Classroom

The generous donation will assist Amity Middle School in Bethany.

From Amity Regional School District No. 5: Bethany Lions Club president, Susan Hurlburt, presented Amity Middle School Bethany principal, Richard Dellinger, and Marissa Nall, Nature’s Classroom Coordinator, a check in the amount of $1,200 as a scholarship fund for Nature’s Classroom.

This contribution will enable several students to attend the invaluable five-day program. The students return from Nature’s Classroom with a better sense of how to work within a group and a better appreciation of their responsibility in taking care of their environment. The students learn lessons that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives: team work, self-initiation, responsibility, and accountability.
