Bethany Pair Arrested for Stealing Downed Wire

Oct. 31 Michael Lagaipa, 30, and Jason Russell, 33, of Bethany, were arrested for stealing copper from CL&P at Hatfield Hill Road. Both men were charged with larceny 6th degree and conspiracy to commit larceny. They were processed at Troop I without incident and each was releaased on $1,000 bonds. They were both given court dates of Nov. 16.
