Bethany Theft Investigated

A man's items were taken when he fell asleep, according to police.

BETHANY, CT — A man's credit card and cell phone were stolen after some car trouble in Bethany, according to police.

Police responded to the Country Corner Diner on July 22. The victim was waiting for roadside assistance while in the parking lot. He fell asleep with the vehicle unlocked and when he woke up he realized the items were taken.

The credit card was recently used at the Naugatuck Walmart. The suspect was driving a newer model tan or gray Nissan Altima.
