Bethany Woman Possessed Illegal Narcotics: Naugatuck PD

The accused was given a $15,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Bethany resident was stopped by Naugatuck Police and police say they found illegal narcotics inside the car. On June 19, Naugatuck Police conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, Nicole L. French, 33, of Bachelor Oak Road, was found to be driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license, police said.

It was further discovered that the accused was in possession of illegal narcotics/controlled substances, police said. The accused was released on a $5,000 and a $10,000. bond on the listed charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell, and criminal impersonation and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on June 27.

Police say the accused was also wanted on a second-degree failure to appear charge.
