Bethany: Your 2014 Midterm Election Results

Bethany voted and the results are in.

In the 89th State House District, the winner is incumbent Republican Lezlye Zupkus with 5,925 votes over Democrat Vickie Orsini Nardello’s 4,020 votes, the Connecticut Post reports. In Bethany, Zupkus received 1,346 votes while Nardello received 996 votes.

For the 17th Senatorial District, the winner is Democrat Joseph Crisco with 15,229 votes over Republican Philip Tripp’s 12,771 votes, the Connecticut Post reports. In Bethany, Crisco received 1,147 votes while Tripp received 1,183 votes.

In the race for the judge of the probate, the winner is Democrat Edward Burt.

Republican William Brinton is the new registrar of voters.

Bethany voted no to the question regarding the absentee ballot.

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro has won her 13th term serving Connecticut’s third congressional district.

In Bethany, Tom Foley and Heather Somers received 1,309 votes while Dannel Malloy and Nancy Wyman received 1,049 votes.
