Breach of Peace on Perkins Road, Stolen Town Check and a Warrant Arrest

Mar. 9 at 7:45 p.m. Woodbridge police were called to Perkins Road where they arrested Suzanne Richie, 58, of 11 St. John Street in North Haven. Richie was accused of attacking another woman, ripping her shirt and leaving scratches on her chest.

She was charged with breach of peace and given a misdemeanor summons, released on a promise to appear, and given a court date of Mar. 25. 

On Jan. 13 the Woodbridge Police Department was notified that a check had come back to the Woodbridge Town Hall with a different name and amount on it. After investigating, police traced the check to Gregory Freeman, 53, of Colonial  Ave., Waterbury, who was arrested St. Patrick’s Day and charged with fourth degree larceny and third degree forgery. He was held on a $5,000 bond. Branford police also arrested him for a similar crime.

A traffic stop Mar. 15 on Amity Road at the New Haven town line for an obscured license plate resulted in a warrant arrest of Carolyn King, 68, of Waterbury, who was charged with failure to respond to an infraction and allowing her dog to roam. King was released on a promise to appear and was given a court date of March 25.
