After a quiet summer with little criminal activity, Bethany Resident State Trooper David Merriam has issued a warning that the past two weeks have seen several incidents.
According to Trooper Merriam, there have been three daytime burglaries in town that took place on Hoadley, Fairwood and Green Hill Roads. Entry was gained by either breaking a door or going through a window. A four-door, black Nissan type vehicle was seen in the area of one of the residences.
There have also been several vehicle break-ins occurring on Ann Drive, Woods Road and Carrington Road. All the vehicles were left unlocked.
