Campaign Worker Clipped by Car While Setting Up Signs
Dark Downs Road a dangerous place for posting political placards.
April 17 at 9 p.m. a car traveling north on Downs Road struck a male pedestrian who was standing on the shoulder putting up political signs in the area of Brooks Road. The pedestrian was transported to with a broken leg. It is not known yet if the driver has charged with anything, however, the pedestrian is out of the hospital and doing well.
