A recaptured emu that escaped a Seymour Road farm in Woodbridge has died.
A total of four emus escaped the farm last Saturday, according to NBC Connecticut. One was captured Tuesday and another Wednesday, but Mnck and Stella remained on the loose.
Mnck died while being recaptured, likely due to exhaustion, owner Woozie Wikfors said. Stella remains on the loose.
