Driver Dies In Crash On Route 69: Police
The driver was extricated after a vehicle struck a utility pole in Woodbridge, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A driver died in connection with a crash late Saturday in Woodbridge, according to police.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Route 69 near Clark Road, where authorities found a southbound vehicle had struck a utility pole, police said. The driver was extricated and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, who said the victim’s identity was pending notification of family.
Route 69 remained closed between Clark and Bond roads as of about 9:45 a.m. Sunday while utility restoration was ongoing, police said.
