Anne Witkavitch to Talk About Her New Book at Clark Memorial Library

Local author and Bethany resident Anne Witkavitch will talk about the making of an anthology and read excerpts from her recently published book, “Press Pause Moments: Essays about Life Transitions by Women Writers”  on Tuesday, March 22, 7 p.m. at the Clark Memorial Library, 538 Amity Road in Bethany, Conn.
Witkavitch, a former communications executive, will share how her own life transition led her to complete an M.F.A. in Creative and Professional Writing and take a “sabbatical” from corporate life to start her own consulting practice and pursue her writing ambitions. She will discuss what she learned both as a writer and as an editor and, most importantly, through her experience in transition.
“Press Pause Moments: Essays about Life Transitions by Women Writers” was compiled and edited by Witkavitch. The collection of beautifully crafted tales about change, adversity and celebration, features the voices of 36 women writers sharing stories about motherhood, widowhood, divorce, infertility,sexuality, combating illness, aging parents, returning to school, changing careers and many more transitions.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
