Join MCF Board Member Jon Gorham via bicycle for a unique solar panel installation tour around the town of Woodbridge and learn who is saving energy and how. Leave the Town Green at 9:30 for a bike ride to solar installation number one, a passive solar and photovoltaic powered ceramics studio on Ford Road. The owner and builder will give a talk on how he has designed and built this building from on-site and recycled materials. We will next ride five minutes to solar installation number two, the Massaro Community Farm (MCF). The Wisconsin barn at MCF has a 5 kW solar PV array that the town Clean Energy Initiative Task Force donated to this 57-acre organic farm. We will then proceed down Ford Road to Savino Vineyard, our last stop and end there.
