Food Preservation Workshop

Attend this FREE workshop to get tips on best ways to preserve your garden harvest

On Tuesday, August 4 from 5:30-7:00pm, Massaro Community Farm will host a Food Preservation Workshop in partnership with the Valley United Way. Join us in the farm’s learning garden to get guidance and recipes on the most common ways to use all the bounty that’s coming out of your garden right now: tomatoes, green beans, egg plant, etc. Simple recipes to freeze, dry, pickle and can all those fresh herbs, flowers and veggies so you can be using them during the winter months. Attendees can take home a jar of refrigerator pickles. *ATTENDEES: PLEASE PARK ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE FARM ON FORD STREET, OR IN THE FORMER HILLTOP HEALTHCARE CENTER PARKING LOT.
