GoFundMe Page Raises Thousands For Memorial Service Of Amity Regional High School Grad
Damon Robinson died unexpectedly at age 21.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A GoFundMe page, established to honor the memory of Amity Regional High School grad Damon Robinson, has generated more than $5,000 toward a local memorial service.
Robinson, 21, recently died unexpectedly in Florida, according to his family, and as of today, March 7, the page has exceeded its goal of $4,500.
While at Amity Regional, Robinson was a star wrestler and lacrosse player, reports News 12 Connecticut. He suffered injuries in a recent assault in Florida, and he died suddenly after he was released from the hospital, according to News 12.

"Hi everyone. We'd just like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has donated," wrote Shavon Robinson on GoFundMe. "We appreciate it more than we can express. The memorial for Damon will be April 1st at 2 PM at Orange Congregational Church in Orange, CT. The address is 205 Meeting House Lane, Orange, CT 06477. There will be a reception following the service."
