Heroes Tunnel Hearing in Woodbridge Postponed
The tunnel on Route 15 in Woodbridge is in need of repairs.
WOODBRIDGE, CT — A public hearing scheduled for July 27 to discuss the future rehabilitation of the Heroes Tunnel has been postponed, according to Woodbridge officials.
A makeup date has not yet been announced by the state Department of Transportation, which was slated to host the public hearing.
The tunnel on Route 15 cuts through West Rock Ridge and is suffering from some structural and drainage deficiencies, which are prompting the repairs, according to officials.
