Larceny, Disorderly Conduct and Threatening at the High School

Apr. 5, at Amity Regional High School, police arrested Justin Shapiro, 19, of Fountain Street. Shapiro allegedly stole IPods, cell phones, cash and radios. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with two counts of fourth degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear and given a court date of Apr. 15.

 Apr. 5 a 17-year-old Bethany male was arrested on a warrant for an incident at the high school. The student was charged with third degree criminal mischief, failure to appear, disorderly conduct and threatening. He posted his $2,500 bond and was given a court date of April 12.

Apr. 5, Joseph Anthony Southhard, 42, of 6th Street, Ansonia, turned himself in at the Woodbridge police headquarters and was arrested on a warrant. He was charged with improper use of marker plates, having no insurance, failure to appear and driving an unregistered vehicle. Southhard posted $750 bond and was given a court date of Apr. 14.

 Apr.4, Daniel Giorioso, 21, of Broadbridge Ave., Stratford, was arrested on a warrant for an incident stemming back to Feb. 28 at Crest Lincoln-Mercury in Woodbridge. Giorioso was charged with sixth degree larceny and illegal use of a credit card. He posted his $5,000 bond and was given a court date of Apr. 15.
