Massaro Community Farm - Dinner on the Farm 2018

Farm-To-Table Fundraiser

Woodbridge, CT - Massaro Community Farm will be hosting their annual farm-to-table “Dinner on the Farm” fundraiser in Woodbridge, CT on September 2, 2018. Located amid the fields and flowers of historic Massaro Farm, this celebration features an all-inclusive meal for the senses prepared by award-winning chef and owner of Zinc, Denise Appel, in addition to an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dessert and coffee, and a silent auction.

Admittance to the dinner includes a farm tour by Farmer Steve Munno beginning at 4:30 PM. Ingredients for the dinner will be primarily sourced from the 10-acres of organic produce grown on the 57-acre former dairy farm. The dining portion of the evening will follow. Additional menu items will be graciously provided by New England Brewing Co., RIPE Bar Juice, Koffee?, and Walnut Beach Creamery.

“This wonderful evening is a great way to showcase our organic farm in action while bringing the community together for a delightful meal under the stars,” said farm executive director, Caty Poole. “Our mission is to keep farming, feed people, and build community and this is one of the ways the community can be a part of and support our mission.”
