At Midnight In His Driveway, A Woodbridge Man Was Carjacked: PD

The victim just got home from work when a man opened his car door, and at gunpoint ordered him to the ground and carjacked him, police say.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Just after midnight, a resident who was arriving home from work in the Route 69 and Warren Road-area of Woodbridge, was about to get out of his car when he was approached by a man who opened his car door and at gunpoint, ordered him to get on the ground, police said.

The man was then robbed, and his car was stolen, Woodbridge police said.

The man was not injured, police said.

Police said the car is a gray 2017 Nissan Rogue with CT Registration AN16987. The car, as of Wednesday afternoon, had not yet been recovered, according to police. A second vehicle and suspect are believed to be involved, but no description was available.
