Missing Woodbridge Man, 54, Last Seen In North Branford

James Russo was last seen at Bar Eighty early Saturday evening. Then his scooter was found at the Branford Motel. His family is worried.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — He's been missing for five days now.

After a Silver Alert was issued for James Russo, 54, who has been missing since Nov. 14, his sister took to Facebook to provide more details in the hopes her brother is found.

“Has anyone seen my brother Jimmy," Cyndi Laviola asked. “ Please share. I need to find him.”

Laviola said Russo was last seen leaving Bar Eighty in North Branford at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Thursday the venue posted a plea on Facebook, too: "Please contact the Woodbridge Police Dept if you have any information about the disappearance of Jimmy," one of two posts read, "He was last seen on Saturday and his family and friends are worried sick."

Laviola said her brother's scooter was found at the Branford Motel on East Main Street.

Police had described Russo as a white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds.

A Woodbridge police dispatcher told Patch that Russo lives in the town, but provided little information other than to confirm he is missing.
