Obituary: ​Dominic J. Acquarulo, Jr., 47, of Woodbridge

He was the owner of the Joker's Wild Comedy Club in New Haven.

Dominic J. Acquarulo, Jr., of Woodbridge, formerly of Branford and East Haven, died Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford.

He was the beloved husband of Annunziata Acquarulo. Dominic was born August 19, 1969 in New Haven, son of the late Dominic J. and Antoinette Cinicola Acquarulo. He was the owner of the Joker's Wild Comedy Club in New Haven. Dominic was the founder and president of the Ninth Gate Motorcycle Club. "He rode it like he stole it."

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Dominic T. Acquarulo and Amanda R. Acquarulo, both of Branford, and Francesca A. Acquarulo of Woodbridge; his sister, Anna M. Sostilio of Woodstock, GA, and his uncles, Louis, Stephen and Anthony Acquarulo.

Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church Friday morning at 10:00. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Suite 550, Chicago, IL 60631, www.abta.org/donate.
