OLOA Announces 2020 Ladies Guild Service Award Recipients

Nicolas Lopez-Vila

We are pleased to present the Ladies Guild Service Award to Nicolas LopezVila. Nicolas has served for eight years as an usher. He also has volunteered in other areas to help the church such as, the
Christmas Bazaar, Parish Youth Group and the Easter Egg Hunt.

Nicolas’ recommendations spoke of his deep Catholic faith and his willingness to always help when needed. Nicolas spoke about his desire to help other people that are not as fortunate as
he is and how all these experiences have only strengthened his faith and that will stay with him forever.

Megan Carpenter

We are pleased to present the Ladies Guild Service Award to Megan Carpenter. Megan has been an active participant in the church as an Altar Server for the last 5 ½ years. She also volunteered with the Faith Formation program activities.

Her recommendations described her commitment to Catholicism and her faithful service to our church. In her essay Megan spoke of how her faith and grown through the years as she has served and created a positive outlook on life and for the future.
