Pig On The Loose In Woodbridge, Police Say

The stray pig is one of two that were reportedly spotted roaming in neighborhoods on Tuesday, according to authorities.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Pigs are still not flying, but apparently a couple of them have been roaming around Woodbridge.

On Tuesday, Woodbridge police received two separate reports of pigs straying from their pens, one spotted on Old Quarry Road, and another on Acorn Hill Road. See the Facebook post below.

The light-colored pig has been found, but a dark-colored one is still on the loose, according to police.

"The female pig is now in the custody of the Woodbridge Regional Animal Control Department," officials wrote on Facebook. "We are seeking information regarding the pig’s owner."
