Proposed Soccer Complex Could End Amity Road Horror Attraction in Bethany

The Planning and Zoning Commission is reviewing the sports facility's application.

BETHANY, CT - The annual Halloween attraction Amity Road Horror is figuratively in jeopardy of suffering the same fate as one of those mindless teenagers in a slasher flick.

The popular entertainment facility is opposing a proposal to put an indoor/outdoor soccer complex close enough to the Bethany attraction that it would cut through a portion of the horror walking trail, reports the New Haven Register.

Local Planning and Zoning Commissioners are scheduling a site visit early next month to determine if a compromise could be reached between the Halloween attraction and the soccer complex.
