A Season of Creativity
Massaro partners with Palette Art Studio to showcase local artists in connection with farm's centennial.
Help Massaro pay homage to its roots during this – its Centennial Celebration year – as it supports local artists and the new Woodbridge location of Palette Art Studio! Palette Studio is the brainchild of mother-daughter team, Natasha and Vasilisa Piskunova. Their original studio, located in Cheshire, opened in 1997. Both locations offer classical and contemporary painting and drawing for individuals and groups of all ages.
This show, A Season of Creativity, will feature farm-themed works of artists who have supported the farm through past donations of their artwork. Visit the studio Saturday, June 4, 2-5 PM for the opening of this exhibit to learn more about Palette's art class offerings, to meet the artists, and to celebrate the launch of Massaro Farm's seventh growing season. Additional gallery hours on Sunday, June 5, 2-5pm. Works will be on display through June 19. Light refreshments will be served.
Massaro Community Farm is a 57-acre organic farm in Woodbridge. It grows vegetables for its 200-member CSA, and brings its produce to the Woodbridge and Edgewood Farmer's Markets. The farm also offers a multitude of adult workshops, farm-based youth education, and hosts community-wide events.
