Shopper Suffered Brain Injury At Lowe's Near Woodbridge, Lawsuit Claims: Report

The incident in question occurred in February of 2015.

ORANGE, CT — In a lawsuit filed last month by attorneys for Margaret Young, the New Haven resident suffered a traumatic brain injury when she slipped and fell on ice and snow in front the Lowe's Home Improvement store in Orange in 2015, reports the Connecticut Law Tribune.

The incident in question occurred in February of that year, and the fall resulted in Young not only suffering from the brain injury but also a cervical sprain, left arm pain, post-concussion syndrome, and other ailments, the suit claims.

Young is seeking monetary damages, but a specific amount was not disclosed. An attorney for Lowe's argued in court that damages could exceed $75,000.
