Small Great Things: A Community Reading Beyond the Cover
Imagine if every adult and teen in town read the same book - the ways we could connect, learn, and grow. Join us this month to find out!
This fall, the library invites all Bethany adults and teens (and guests from other towns) to read and discuss Jodi Picoult’s bestselling and critically acclaimed novel (and upcoming movie starring Viola Davis and Julia Roberts) Small Great Things.
Set in New Haven, and told from the narrative perspectives of three distinctive characters, Small Great Things deftly delves into the contemporary issues of prejudice and justice. The library has both print copies and audiobooks available - you can check the shelves or reserve a copy through the catalog, and of course you can call (203) 393 2103 for more information.
We are offering programs for all ages, including facilitated discussions of the book and its themes. Pick up a paper schedule of our Small Great Things: A Community Reading Beyond the Cover at the library or around town.
