State and Local Police, Firefighters Investigate Beacon Falls House Fire

The fire occurred early Tuesday morning Beacon Valley Road.

BEACON FALLS, CT — State Police detectives from the Central District Major Crime unit are among the authorities investigating a house fire that occurred early Tuesday on Beacon Valley Road in Beacon Falls.

The blaze occurred at approximately 3:20 a.m., and required firefighters from the Beacon Falls Fire
Department and Naugatuck Fire Department to extinguish, according to officials. No injuries were reported, but additional details specifically about the fire and where in the house it occurred were not disclosed.

Additionally, State Police Detectives from the Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit (FEIU), and members of the Bethany state police barracks, responded to the scene to assist in the investigation. Soon after, members of the Central District Major Crime group took over the investigation.

"Anyone who has information, or thinks they may have information, regarding this fire is asked to call Central District Major Crime at 203-393-4200 or text TIP711 with the information to 274637," state police said in a statement. "All calls will be kept confidential."
