Teacher, Staff Of The Year Named By Bethany Schools

From BPS:Bethany Public School District Superintendent, Colleen Murray is pleased to announce that the 2020 Teacher of the Year is Fifth Grade teacher, Katherine Beeman. Mrs. Beeman was chosen by her peers as an exceptional teacher for her contributions both in and out of the classroom and for the positive impact that she has had on teaching and learning. Mrs. Beeman is a passionate teacher committed and dedicated to teaching and to all students. Mrs. Beeman has been a teacher at Bethany Community School for 4 years. Mrs. Beeman will be honored at a ceremony in December by the Commissioner of Education.

Superintendent Murray also announced that the 2020 Staff Member of the Year is School Nurse, Jennifer Bobok. Mrs. Bobok’s positive and compassionate nature has had a tremendous impact on both students and staff at BCS. Her experience, hard work, and dedication have been amazing. This is Mrs. Bobok’s first year at BCS.
