Thefts From Vehicles Reported in Woodbridge

Several thefts from vehicles have been reported in town.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Police are reminding residents to secure their vehicles after a number of reports thefts from vehicles. Additionally, a vehicle was stolen on Johnson Road in November.

The stolen vehicle was located several hours later in Hamden thanks to the vehicle's GPS system, police said.

"Additionally, over the past several weeks and as recent as this past weekend, residents have reported thefts from their vehicles, all of which had been left unlocked," police said on Facebook. "These thefts are usually spread throughout the town, but over the past few weeks the thefts have occurred mostly in the areas of Beecher Road, Ansonia Road, Johnson Road, Baldwin Road, and Ford Road. Similar incidents have been reported in surrounding towns as well."
