Town Hosts Business After Hours at Grimaldi's Pizza
The happy hour series is part of the Town of Woodbridge's effort to support Woodbridge businesses

Working with the Economic Development Commission, the Town is organizing various business networking opportunities.
The next event for the business community will be a Business After Hours happy hour at Grimaldi’s Pizza on Tuesday Nov. 3 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Admission is free to this event and Grimaldi’s regular happy hour drink specials will be available and there will be a sampling of free appetizers. The goal is to bring the business community together to learn about and from each other. If you represent a business interested in this event, please contact Assistant Administrative Officer Betsy Yagla at byagla@woodbridgect.org.
This is the Town’s third Business After Hours event. The first was at Wheeler’s in June, followed by a second at the JCC in September.

“Supporting our local businesses has been one of my focus areas,” said First Selectman Ellen Scalettar. “These happy hours are a great way for our business community to network in a relaxed setting and get to know our local restaurants.”
Additionally, the First Selectman has been visiting local businesses to highlight them as part of the “Shop Woodbridge, Dine Woodbridge, Try Woodbridge” campaign. The visits are designed to create a stronger bond between Town Hall and the Town’s business community and to foster economic development in Woodbridge. Additionally, the Town’s Economic Development Commission has been inviting new and expanding businesses to its monthly meetings in order to learn about those businesses and why they chose Woodbridge.
