Outdoor Movies on the Green
Sept. 9, 2021, 6:45 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Join us Thursday evenings this September on the Woodbridge Town Green for film screenings. Movies will start around sunset once it is dark enough outside. Bring blankets, chairs, and snacks! Masks are recommended. No registration required. Free, open to all. Rain cancels.

20th Anniversary of 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
Sept. 11, 2021, 8:30 a.m. @ Woodbridge Fire Department
The Woodbridge Fire Department is holding a Memorial Service to commemorate the Twenty Anniversary of 9/11 on Saturday, September 11, 2021 beginning at 8:30am at the Fire House. All are welcome to attend.
HazWaste Satellite Collection & Paper Shredding Event
Sept. 11, 2021, 9 a..m - 12 p.m. @ Transfer Station
Woodbridge participates in the HazWaste Central Program through the Regional Water Authority, located at 90 Sargent Drive, New Haven, CT. The facility is open for residential drop-off from mid-May though the last Saturday of October on Saturdays only from 9 a.m. until Noon. A satellite collection will take place on Sept. 11 from 9-12 at the Woodbridge Transfer Station and Recycling Center.
Some of the acceptable materials are: Kitchen and bathroom aerosols, floor care products, furniture polish, oven cleaners, garage and workshop chemicals such as antifreeze, brake fluids, paints, garden and miscellaneous items such as moth balls, insecticides, and herbicides. For a complete listing of hazardous materials, you may contact customer service at RWA HazWaste Central at 203-401-2712 or their website at Household Hazardous Waste.
Due to COVID-19, any resident wanting to use the HazWaste Central Program MUST fill out an electronic document BEFORE going to the facility.
