Update: Pig Broke Open Gate That Allowed Woodbridge Emus to Escape

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

Two runaway emus are still on the loose after escaping a Woodbridge farm.

The two large flightless avians have been causing a stir in the area.

Emus Stella and Mnck escaped along with several llamas, alpacas, ducks, turkey, sheep and other emus on Tuesday after Dexter the potbelly pig broke open a gate, according to WTNH.

The two emus typically stick together, but they have recently been spotted alone. Stella was spotted about four miles from the farm Thursday.

Owner Woozie Wikfors said she is concerned that the birds might try and cross Route 8.
