Warrant Arrest In 2016 Crash With Injuries: Woodbridge Police

The department posted on its Facebook page this week about three recent arrests, including a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — The Woodbridge Police Department this week posted the following arrests on the department's Facebook page. The charges are accusations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty.

Arrestee: Gregory Davis-Trapani, age 35, of 248 Ansonia Road, Woodbridge, CT
Charges: 53a-157b Providing A False Statement

On April 11, 2017 Gregory Davis-Trapani turned himself in at the Woodbridge Police Department on an outstanding criminal arrest warrant. Davis-Trapani was charged with 53a-157b Providing A False Statement. Davis-Trapani was released on his Promise To Appear in New Haven Superior Court on April 19, 2017 for his arraignment.

Arrestee: Eric Pemberton, age 37, of 1081 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, CT
Charges: 14-215 Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and 14-236 Failure To Drive In Established Lane

On April 14, 2017 Eric Pemberton was taken into custody by the Naugatuck Police Department on this Department’s active criminal arrest warrant. Pemberton was turned over to members of the Woodbridge Police Department and was charged with the above. Pemberton’s arrest stemmed from a 2016 motor vehicle accident on Amity Road where all the involved parties were hospitalized for injuries sustained due to Pemberton’s maneuver. After being processed Pemberton was released on his Promise To Appear in New Haven Superior Court on May 03, 2017 for his arraignment.

Arrestee: Matthew Keating, age 48, of 477 Beaver St., Ansonia, CT.
Charges: 14-227a Operating A Motor Vehicle Under The Influence

On April 14, 2017 Matthew Keating was taken into custody by the Oxford Police Department on this Department’s active criminal arrest warrant. Keating was turned over to members of the Woodbridge Police Department and was charged with the above. Keating’s arrest stemmed from a 2015 motor vehicle accident where Keating was found to be operating his motor vehicle under the influence. Keating posted his $500.00 non surety bond and was released with a court date of April 28, 2017 in New Haven Superior Court for his arraignment.
