What Should Take Tokyo's Spot in Woodbridge?
The space formerly occupied by the sushi, hibachi and seafood buffet is vacant. Would would you like to see open there?
In this modern version of community planning — Patch's version of a charette, a digital drawing board where all ideas are on the table — we’re asking you the reader to tell us what you’d like to see in Woodbridge and Bethany’s open commercial spaces.
In this series we'll present a vacant commercial property and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use. Forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?
This week we’re looking at 1646 Litchfield Turnpike in Woodbridge, formerly home to Tokyo Sushi, Hibachi and Seafood Buffet. The property shares a driveway with several businesses, including Starbucks and Katz's Restaurant and Deli, and is located just off Route 15.
