Woman Arrested On Burglary Charge: Woodbridge Police

Police said forensic evidence was used to help make the arrest.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A New Haven woman has been charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree burglary, police said. Marquetta James, 32, of Chapel Street, was served a criminal arrest warrant and she is currently in Department Of Corrections custody, police said.

The arrest warrant stemmed from a 2016 residential burglary where forensic evidence was gathered at the scene and linked to James, police said. James was processed at New Haven Superior Court and charged. She was released back into Department Of Corrections custody for her arraignment later on this date, police said.
