Woman Stole Woodbridge Resident's Credit Card: Police

The accused posted a $10,000 bond.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A West Haven woman is accused of stealing a Woodbridge resident's credit card, police said. Alicia Sheremeta, 30, of Brown Street in West Haven is charged with fifth-degree larceny, two counts of illegal use of a credit card and four counts of identity theft.

On March 12, members of the Woodbridge Police Department served an active criminal arrest warrant for Sheremeta, police said.

The arrest warrant stems from the 2017 theft of a Woodbridge resident’s credit card, police said. Sheremeta was able to post her $10,000 bond. She was issued a court date of March 23, 2018 in New Haven Superior for her arraignment.
